Class time: Friday’s 6:30 – 8:30 pm and Saturday’s 6:30 – 8:30 pm

Class Cost: $15.00 per class

Minimum Age: 12 years old

What to wear: Athletic clothing, closed-toed shoes

What to bring: Water bottle

Class Description: Based on the centuries-old tradition of the German Grandmaster Johannes Liechtenauer, this class will teach students how to fight with the Longsword in two hands, as well as the one-handed Longknife, and two-handed Staff. Cutting, thrusting, slicing, along with throws, locks, disarms, and fighting multiple opponents will be taught according to a highly organized curriculum. Exercises, drills, forms, and sparring will be a regular part of every two-hour class. Benefits include an increase in fitness, training self-defense, engaging in competition, and learning history. All essential equipment is provided (students are encouraged to purchase their own to practice at home and use in class). New students may join at any time, and no prior martial arts or fencing experience is required.
